Answer: Only God’s words can be man’s life, change man, and perfect man. No matter how much they conform with the truth, man’s words are not the truth and cannot change or perfect man. This is a fact nobody can deny!
Even though people admit that only God’s words can be man’s life, not many people can see through the meaning of God’s words being man’s life and the results it can achieve. If people can see through this issue, then they will hunger after the truth and seek the truth. Very few people understand just what the truth is, and moreover nobody understands why the truth can be man’s life and what kind of results the truth being man’s life can achieve. To understand this aspect of the truth, we must first understand that man was created by God and man’s life comes from God. Only God can bestow upon man true life. Genesis 1:26: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. …” God created man in His image, so God will surely bestow upon man new life. Both times God became flesh to redeem and save mankind, He mentioned: “I am the truth, the way, and the life.” God has come and brought the way of eternal life. Without a doubt, God shall bestow upon man eternal life and allow man to gain eternal life. This way of eternal life is all truths expressed by God to cleanse and perfect man. “Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death” (Jhn 8:51). “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?” (Jhn 11:25-26). The Lord Jesus’ words are very clear. God’s way is the eternal life God bestows upon man. If man complies with God’s way, then he shall never see death. If man can comply with God’s way, then he shall gain eternal life.
Almighty God says, “Christ of the last days brings life, and brings the enduring and everlasting way of truth. This truth is the path through which man shall gain life, and the only path by which man shall know God and be approved by God. “Those who wish to gain life without relying on the truth spoken by Christ are the most ridiculous people on earth, and those who do not accept the way of life brought by Christ are lost in fantasy. And so I say that the people who do not accept Christ of the last days shall forever be despised by God. Christ is man’s gateway to the kingdom during the last days, which none may bypass. None may be perfected by God except through Christ. You believe in God, and so you must accept His words and obey His way. You must not just think of gaining blessings without receiving the truth, or accepting the provision of life. Christ comes during the last days so that all those who truly believe in Him may be provided with life. His work is for the sake of concluding the old age and entering the new one, and is the path that must be taken by all those who would enter the new age. Almighty God has said it very clearly. The way of truth brought by Christ of the last days is the way of eternal life. This way of eternal life is the eternal life God bestows upon mankind. If man gains the life bestowed by God then he will gain eternal life and shall never die. Then why can only God's words be man's eternal life? Let's take a look at what Almighty God says.
Almighty God says, “The way of life is not something that can be possessed by just anyone, nor is it easily obtainable by all. That is because life can only come from God, which is to say, only God Himself possesses the substance of life, there is no way of life without God Himself, and so only God is the source of life, and the ever-flowing wellspring of living water of life. From when He created the world, God has done much work involving the vitality of life, has done much work that brings life to man, and has paid a great price so that man might gain life, for God Himself is eternal life, and God Himself is the way by which man is resurrected. … Man's life originates from God, the existence of the heaven is because of God, and the existence of the earth stems from the power of God's life. No object possessed of vitality can transcend the sovereignty of God, and no thing with vigor can break away from the ambit of God's authority. … and only God possesses the way of life. “God Himself is life, and the truth, and His life and truth coexist. Those who are incapable of gaining the truth shall never gain life. Without the guidance, support, and provision of the truth, you shall only gain letters, doctrines, and, moreover, death. God’s life is ever-present, and His truth and life coexist. If you cannot find the source of truth, then you will not gain the nourishment of life; if you cannot gain the provision of life, then you will surely have no truth, and so apart from imaginations and conceptions, the entirety of your body shall be nothing but flesh, your stinking flesh. Know that the words of books do not count as life, the records of history cannot be feted as the truth, and the doctrines of the past cannot serve as an account of words presently spoken by God. Almighty God’s words make it very clear why God’s words can be man’s life. God is the source of life for all things. God not only created the heavens and earth and all things, but also rules over the heavens and earth and all things. This is an openly accepted fact. God is the self-existing and ever-existing God; only God is eternal life. That’s why God can forever rule over the fate of all things. Apart from God, no person, event or thing lasts forever or exists forever. God used His word to create the heavens and earth and all things. God’s word shall exist for eternity. Just as the Lord Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” So the truth expressed by God will forever exist and never change. This is eternal life. God’s word itself is the way of eternal life and can be man’s eternal life. All words expressed by God incarnate are a revelation of God’s life. They are all expressions of God’s righteous disposition and all that He has and is, represent God’s almightiness and wisdom, and are all the intentions and requirements the Lord of creation has toward mankind. They are all truths corrupted mankind must possess to achieve salvation. It is the way of eternal life God has bestowed upon mankind. All those who have truly experienced God’s word have seen this fact: The more man experiences God’s word the more he will feel that God’s word is the truth and the life, it is inexhaustible in supply and always available. Every sentence of God’s word is sufficient for man to experience for a lifetime. When man experiences God’s word to a certain extent, he will be able to gain the truth and life from God’s word. When man lives by God’s word, he will feel very fulfilled in his heart, and be happy, peaceful, comforted, and hopeful. He will feel deep in his heart that God is with him and that God’s word gives him strength, and God’s word can become his faith and his life. This fact is sufficient to prove that God’s word is the eternal truth. Only God’s word can be man’s eternal life. This is undoubtable. All truth expressed by God during His judgment work of the last days is the life God bestows upon mankind. Each item of truth can be a part of man’s life. For example: The truth of being an honest person can make man live out a normal humanity and live out the likeness of a real person. Knowing God can make man revere God, obey God, worship God, and be blessed by God for a thousand generations. Relying on God and obeying God can earn man God’s guidance and blessings. If man truly loves God, he can be greatly used by God and always serve God. Walking in God’s way, fearing God and shunning evil can gain man God’s promise and entry to the kingdom of heaven. This shows that gaining these truths is gaining eternal life and enjoying eternal blessings. Each item of truth can be man’s life and can bring man blessings. This is the true meaning of the truth being man’s life.
Now we understand why only God’s word can be man’s life. It is because only God’s word is the truth, and only the truth can be man’s life. This is an irrefutable fact. So what results can be achieved from God’s word being man’s life? Let’s take another look at Almighty God’s words:
“Though the word “word” is simple and ordinary, the word from the mouth of the incarnate God shakes up the entire universe; it transforms man’s heart, notions, and old disposition, and the way the whole world used to appear. Through the ages, only the God of today works in this manner, and only He speaks thus and comes to save man thus. From this time forward, man lives under the guidance of the word, shepherded and supplied by the word. All humanity has come to live in the world of the word, within the curses and the blessings of God’s word, and there are even more human beings who have come to live under the judgment and chastisement of the word. These words and this work are all for the sake of man’s salvation, for the sake of fulfilling God’s will, and for the sake of changing the original appearance of the world of old creation. God created the world with the word, leads men from all over the universe with the word, and again conquers and saves them with the word. Finally, He shall use the word to bring the entire world of old to an end. “Only if one knows God and has the truth does he live in the light; and only when his view of the world and his view of life change does he change fundamentally. When he has a life goal and comports himself according to the truth; when he absolutely submits to God and lives by God’s word; when he feels assured and brightened deep in his soul; when his heart is free of darkness; and when he lives completely freely and unrestrained in God’s presence—only then does he live a true human life and become a person possessing truth. Besides, all the truths you have are from God’s word and from God Himself. The Ruler of the entire universe and all things—God Most High—approves of you, as a real man living the true human life. Almighty God has very clearly explained the results that can be achieved by making God’s word man’s life. We have accepted God’s work of the last days and seen that all words expressed by Almighty God are the truth and are all God’s disposition and all that He has and is. Almighty God’s word has revealed all mysteries of God’s management plan: the inside truth of the three stages of God’s work to save mankind, the mystery of God becoming flesh, the meaning of God’s name, and the inside stories of the Bible, how Satan corrupts mankind and how God saves mankind, the destinations and endings of all kinds of people, how man should seek to achieve salvation and be perfected, and so forth. Almighty God has opened up our eyes and He is giving us a feast for the eyes. Almighty God’s word is like a double-edged sword, thoroughly exposing our satanic nature and our various ugly states of disobeying and resisting God, making us realize that we have indeed been corrupted so deeply by Satan and that we don’t have the likeness of a human being whatsoever, and making us feel like we have nowhere to hide and very ashamed. God’s word thoroughly conquered us, which shows that God’s word is the truth and can conquer mankind. Experiencing the judgment of Almighty God’s word is like being face to face with God. We got to know God’s righteous disposition and genuinely felt God’s majesty, wrath, and intolerance of man’s offense, giving rise to a heart that reveres God. This is the result of the truth of God’s word cleansing and perfecting man. The judgment of Almighty God’s word has changed our view on life and values to different extents. In the past, we pursued the world’s glory of wealth, fame, fortune, and status. We are now focused on pursuing truth and the pursuit of becoming honest people knowing God, obeying God, and loving God, and fulfilling our duty as a created being to satisfy God. Our life disposition has gradually changed, and we become more and more like what a real human being should be. We think living like this is especially valuable and meaningful. Through experiencing God’s work of the last days, we have clearly seen that all words expressed by Almighty God can indeed cleanse, save, and perfect man, can be man’s life and bring man a true life. This is precisely the result achieved by God’s work through expressing words. This is sufficient to prove that only God’s word and only the truth can cleanse, save, and perfect man, and can be man’s life. If one truly gains the truth from God’s word, then they can achieve knowing God, obeying God, and loving God, and achieve compatibility with God and will never betray God again. This way, man shall gain eternal life and never be destroyed. This is the result of the truth of God’s words being man’s life.
Why is it that only the word of God can be the eternal life of man, but man’s words and knowledge cannot? Let us look at a fact. Satan has corrupted mankind for thousands of years. Why is mankind increasingly evil and corrupt? Why is the world increasingly dark? It is because ever since mankind was corrupted by Satan, the philosophy, rules, logic and various poisons of Satan have become the life and nature of man. As a result, mankind is increasingly evil and resistant to God, and the world is increasingly dark. From this we can see that all negative things come from Satan, evil spirits and demons. Satan is the root of all evil and darkness. Corrupt mankind possesses Satan’s nature, and lives according to Satan’s philosophy, rules and poisons. Man is arrogant, crooked, deceitful, advocatory of evil, rife with intrigues, status struggles, and fratricidal conflict, etc. Man has lost his conscience and reason. He is destitute of humanity like filthy demons and evil spirits. There are enough facts to prove that neither the word of Satan nor that of corrupt mankind is the truth. It cannot be the life of man. It can only corrupt, deceive, harm, and kill man. Unless all the truths expressed by God are accepted, mankind will only be increasingly corrupted and finally ruined by Satan. This is the inevitable law. Therefore, those who do not accept the judgment of Almighty God in the last days will eventually perish with Satan. They will no longer exist. It is a certainty. Only God can save mankind, and only the word of God can be the life of man. Only by receiving the truth as life can man survive and enter the kingdom of God.
